Im pretty sure at this point that they really don't wanna go back to buttons... The only thing i could see it is if they'd make a special "limited" edition of one of their old classic kindle for an anniversary maybe? I don't know if it makes sense.

It would be interesting to know how the panels are made. I assumed that initially larger panels were made with a PPI, and multiple displays panels were "cut" from a larger panel. I seem to recall that other technologies do something like this.
