This is a new release, so not a regular "sale" price, but worth it for fans.

Five kids are on a sleepover in a restored wilderness project in Ireland. With them, three teachers and one Ranger: Lisa. She is 26, longing to leave her job, out of her depth and soon to find herself mired in a nightmare.

Strange things have been happening at Lough Carrow, a vast rewilding project on the site of a former commercial peat-bog. Livestock mutilations. Rumours, myths from the neighbouring villages. Strange, unidentifiable tracks. On the trek in to the sleepover site they sight animals that have not yet been introduced to the park - wolves, wolverines, things older. Things thought long extinct.

I didn't care for it, but many people love it.

Ha yes, that's a distinct cover, but definitely preferring the party Valancourt style one.

There appears to be a bit of a sale on for Robert Aickman anthologies in the UK at the moment. The Unsettled Dust and The Wine-Dark Sea are both down to 99p, or 89p at Kobo if you're a VIP member. They've both been on my eReaderIQ watchlist for about a decade, although one of them's apparently gone missing from the list at some point. Dark Entries and Cold Hand in Mine are both down to £1.79 at Amazon, but at the usual price at Kobo.

Middle grade horror comic anthology. This was on my wishlist as I'm a fan of the author's work.
Note: Amazon doesn't let me to "Download and transfer via USB" - maybe my registered Kindle device is too old for this format. Kobo should work fine.

Still on sale! I read it and it's great all-ages fun. Rewards attention to detail.
