Clara HD N249 Image Request
Hi David,

My Kobo Clara HD freezes when I open a book, turning the screen in the contrast black and white, sometimes blank screen. However, if I connect it to a charger or laptop then the books can be opened normally.

I do not know what the issue is, but I want to try to flash the SD card hoping it will work again. May I request for the image of Kobo Clara HD please?

That sounds more like a battery issue than a firmware issue. I'll send you the image in any case but you will need to have Private Messages enabled before you can be sent the link. If you don't see that option in the "Edit Options" of the User control panel, you should post in the Requests to enable Private Messages thread to ask for PMs to be enabled.

Once PMs are enabled, please re-post in this thread to let me know.

@vn01061160: Not sure if seeing a video would help. As I said, if your Kobo works when it is connected to power over USB, that suggests the battery or the charging circuitry is an issue.
