The DMV is the Department of Motor Vehicles? Basically, bureaucratic hell!

My Texas Vehicle Registration is close to expiring so I went to the Alaska DMV to get my stuff renewed, found out I needed the Title of my car..So I went home during my lunch break got it went back, then found out I also needed my husband's signature too! Apparently, they want to transfer the title to Alaska and I have to do that in order to register my vehicle and it's a big pain in the butt.

I think what annoyed me most is they didn't have a checklist of what you need to have to register and I have to go back again tomorrow! I'll probably find out I need something else I don't have too.

Then to top it all off I had this horrible Arby's roast beef sandwhich with fake squeeze cheese in it. So my lunch sucked.

No, not military...They just said it's law that you have to get your plates transfered. I told them I planned on moving in 2 or 3 years....it didn't seem to help.
