Hi Renate. It's quite a long time ago but I just got hand on a JDread2 brandnew for quite a cheap price (50$) and I'd like to have it converted to Poke3 firmware. Could you kindly send me the p9mod link? I have the Poke3 firmware decrypted and edl working

I have received the custom rec that Renate made. First I have some problem with entering the secret code for adb to work.
My procedure is as following
- First, make adb to work using the secret code. Everything will be in chinese, so use Google translate:
1. Connect the Jdread2 to Internet. After that set the device password to 0423, below enter a China phone number (just a 136xxxx.xxxx random, just for the password to work).
2. Enter About devices. Tap multiple times at Firmware version (just below the name JDread2). After that connect it to a computer, there will be a prompt asking. Allow USB debugging

With the latest mod rec that Renate sent me, there's no need to

I forgot about it and but it flashed the Poke3 rom anyway. Mine is on latest Poke3 firmware now. Thanks alot Renate

Glad it worked.
There are two styles of updates: the old script based one and the new payload.bin one.
I've forgotten which the Poke3 has or even if they switched to the new one.
