Conversion to epub with Guardian recipe fails
Conversion to epub with Guardian recipe fails this morning with the following details:
Looking for large trees in feed_2/article_5/index_u27.html... No large trees found The cover image has an id != "cover". Renaming to work around bug in Nook Color EPUB output written to D:\UserTmp\calibre_vv2q83qj\7yp5ky0i_recipe_out.ep ub I can view and email the resulting epubs from that folder. Have tested at various times, always the same message. I am on Calibre 7.6 |

ps I see that a Nook Color is a tablet. I have an Amazon Fire which is the ultimate destination for the epub, but the error occurs at the Fetch stage on my PC.

There's no failure in that error message. Which tells me that most likely something on your computer is killing the calibre worker processes or otherwise causing it to crash. Try running in safe mode with networking to verify.

Still the same in safe mode with networking.
I uninstalled Calibre 7.6 and reinstalled 7.5.1 and the problem disaappeared. Regards Paddy |

There werent any changes to news download/conversion between 7.5 and 7.6, definitely nothing that could cause worker processes to abort. If 7.5 is working for you stick with it for a while.
