So as evident from other threads have managed to JB the K4NT and happy to say am loving it...

But the K3keyboard GB has constantly failed to JB always throwing up the U007 error even after trying Kubrick.... Even tried JB after each update(from 3.4 as per Kubrick) and always fails with U007

Does anyone have any further suggestions??



Ok So heres and odd one for future ref. The Jb file for K3(keyboard) fails to work in the first post yet the one in your snapshots thread works perfectly

As Amazon have released their last ever firmware update for the kindle D008 3rd generation reader...Super device and a marvellous invention

I and others will want some super advice on Jailbreaking this firmware update as I do so want to change the screensavers and fonts...

Please can you knowledgeable gods provide me with what I need to download and do. I don't want to brick my device...and have an IT nightmare.

I look forward to someone taking up my challenge and can it be done?
Is it easy or hopeless?

Hey all! Just bought a new battery for my Kindle Keyboard and I am very new to it. I like the look at the keyboard, and have only one thing I want it to do: Take notes.

Well, it would be REALLY cool if I could telnet from it and call computer Bulletin Board systems, but at the very least use it for writing notes and uploading those to other computers later.

Anything on the Kindle Keyboard, jailbroken or not, that works well at that?

Do you want to use the cover of the last book opened as a screensaver? Make sure you've installed the Python package first, then just drop a blank file named cover in the linkss folder. Restart your Kindle ([HOME] -> [MENU] > Settings -> [MENU] > Restart), and you're done .

None (at all, no extension). There's a KUAL button for that if your OS insists on making that complicated (i.e., Windows's default behavior).

I have enabled "stretch to fullscreen" but nothing has changed even after restarting. Did I misunderstand the correct buttons?

In the settings I also found a lot of other buttons like "verbose mode". Is there a documentation that explains all these settings? I tried to find them in the .Readme file but it wasnt there.

I tried black borders and it works. For fit to screen I am still unable to make it work.

Nevermind. The fit to screen and black borders only work for specific books. All my other books dont work.

What can I do to fix this? Im willing to mess around with files using calibre if I need to.
