(I actually have had my handbag snatched, or rather ripped from my hand, in 2012. Fortunately the only even remotely valuable thing in it was my phone, and I had that returned by the police a few months later; of course I'd already bought a new phone by then. My documents and bank cards were not in the bag).

Nope. Just one bank card, zero credit cards, one grocery "points card" and a discount card for multiple stores. In a "ridge-wallet" style holder. Minimal as possible.

TPBM prefers custard to cream on a dessert.

Hmm... what type of custard? Crème anglaise? Nice on a waffle with fruit. Crème Bavarois? In an éclair. Crème brûlée (a baked custrard) with the layer of melted sugar? Delicious. OTOH, there are a lot of delicious cream desserts. St. Honoré cake as an example.

Perhaps a bit of a frustrated pastry chef in me...

The PBM avoids desserts like the plague.

TPBM stopped painting their toenails in sandal season and if people don't like it, they don't have to look.
