That's true, but Vivaldi provides a lot of ways to customize. For example, you can go to settings and move your tabs to the right, left, top or bottom. Also, like the old Opera, it has email built-in to the browser. So there's a lot of Vivaldi provided customizations available. At one point Firefox would allow you to get rid of the tab bar when only one window was open. And later there were add-ons that would allow you to do that (which, as far as I can see, all fell by the wayside). Now I achieve this by putting a few lines in the userChrome.css. But if the option was still built-in, that's what I would use.

I'm not sure where I would go either. Hopefully I won't be forced to make that decision.

I love how my Fox looks now.
I got rid of the horizontal tab bar by editing userchrome.css.
Check out the left hand sidebar.
I'm never going back to a regular (horizontally splayed) tab bar again.

Mine is much "simpler." I like to keep stuff tucked away in Menus. On my laptops I do use a dark theme however.

I don't see any tabs. Could you show me where you tuck them away into?

I don't have tabs unless I open a second one. Then they're just the standard, horizontal tabs. I don't think this is what you want at all, but I like the tabs on top (when I need them).

does brave let users edit userChrome.css? I use firefox in part because i can edit userChrome.css
