Yep, they're legit! http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/se...R.R.%20Tolkien On Harper Collins in EPUB, PDF, LIT, and MOBI: The Trilogy Fellowship of the Ring The Two Towers The Return of the King The Hobbit The Children of Húrin Unfortunately the "trilogy" book is not yet available on Amazon. Harper Collins site says all the books will be available on April 20. EDIT: It is now. EDIT: They are also available on Fictionwise with a 100% credit. There's no reason to think that Harper Collins has the ebook rights. I honestly don't know.

The second link in post #1 is broken. Not a good idea to have a broken link on a frontpage article.

I'd also be interested to know if the appendices are included, complete with the images? And also the images that are sprinkled throughout the text, like Gandalf's rune, the ring text, and the doors of Moria? |

But they DO list individual parts of the trilogy as well as the entire trilogy ($23.19) bundle. | |
