so, to make up for not taking more pictures at the apéro, here are some photos of....

DUCKLINGS !!!!!

which i saw today on the canal. there were two families, one with 4 ducklings, and one with TEN tiny tiny fluffy fuzzy little baby ducklings !!!! bouh, so cute ! they were all swimming around the canal with the mama ducks, playing and eating, and the papa ducks were keeping watch nearby (or, more likely, talking about sports and wondering what was for dinner).
