Feature Request
A feature I would really appreciate would be the ability for Saved Searches to also save the type of file I normally run that search on, as with the mode of search. For example, I have searches I only run on style files. Pretty much all my searches I run on specific file types.

Add CSS to the saved search name. Then you can type CSS in the filter box at the top to access searches of that type.

Thanks for your quick response. I don't think you quite understood my request, though. I don't need to have the search types grouped, but saved with the search, so that a search is only performed on certain types of files. Jeff |

This current thread seems to indicate you can put in comments with "?# comment". Would that work?

If I understand what you want correctly, the Editor Chains plugin allows you to save the type of files associated with saved searches. The downside is that you will have to invoke the saved search from the a menu or a keyboard shortcut, instead of using the saved searches side pane.
