If you don't mind the carnival atmosphere it will lend, try attaching a few balloons where you see most of the prints, if you could have something that jingles a bit when it is disturbed, even better. This worked very well for a dog I had that loved the window repairman so much that he wanted to put his kids through college - he knocked out my windows quite regularly at school dismissal time. It also seemed to keep most of my cats away from the windows that had the balloons attached. A cheapie bag of small balloons, a cheap hand pump and some mini bells would fit the bill, and hopefully relieve you of your problem! (you'd have to take the balloons down... but you'd need to do the same thing with mats, so it might not be an issue) Last edited by Ceili; 04-13-2009 at 05:43 PM. |

Have you considered allergy shots? Not that I think you should try to keep cats if you're allergic, but if they cause you not to be able to breathe... that seems like something worth treating, if possible. Cats are pretty common. (For that matter, Ricky, have you looked into allergy shots? Do they not work for allergies as severe as yours? They seem to be working [finally!] for my dust mite allergies.) | |
