That's probably supposed to be this way.

I have an issue with the Sage buttons on 4.32. Often they don't respond with the first press, but do so with the second. It happens much more often than the button woes with earlier firmwares, and it's majorly annoying. I think I might contact Kobo over this.

I found it hard to get used to pressing in the middle, where the switch must be. On the Libra the switch is under the outer curved edge on each button. I opened it to check!

I see the same thing as Deobulakenyo. I'm using ePub and it is not even close to Times Roman. It's a slab serif.

I agree the epub version isn't much like Times either, but it doesn't look the same as kepub. But I didn't have the same book in both versions and maybe the size affects the appearance.

I never bothered to try Kobo Nickel as the line spacing is too much even at minimum line height with the patch.

The image I posted in #233 is an ePub, I believe (based on the Adobe page numbers showing) and it looks the same as Nickle on my kepub

Have you tried messing with it in Font Forge?

We're talking a lot about fonts in this thread, which makes sense since it is one of the biggest changes. But I also that when you select something, it reverses to white on black. I saw it in the list of new features but didn't really notice it until I kept opening the font window.

I tried Kobo Nickel with both an epub and a kepub on my Libra 2. The books have the same font-size and line-spacing in the css. The kepub had much larger line-height with Nickel than the epub; with my preferred font LexiaDaMa and other sideloaded fonts the line-height is the same.

There's certainly something going on with the Nickel font.

As to the Sage buttons issue, I informed Kobo about it and they promised to escalate the issue to their Tech Team. I hope they'll do it.
