Though to be honest, when reading the Nook's white border and the Clara's back border both fade away equally well.

Hand, not device position. I imagine they shift their hand up and down along the button side, as the buttons for the Libra 2 and Sage are spaced out a bit.

JosieB, I think you are going to love your Libra 2. I thought I would never go down to 7 inches from my Forma, or accept a recessed screen, but the Libra 2 is so beautiful in the sharpness and contrast of its display, with no unevenness, that I've become a fan. 18 grams heavier than the Forma, but unlike the Sage, that's a tolerable increment for me. And battery life has been great.

Don’t get the wrong impression based on this comment. The Forma was unique and weighted less than it should have normally have. It uses a screen with plastic substrate that allowed it to be super light. The Libra is more in the norm of what we’re used with ereaders.

I ordered at about 8:15am on 26/10/2021. It reached here at 1pm on 04/11/2021 (the postman interrupted me posting here). I'm in Gosford. From the tracking, it came from Sydney and apparently took three days to get from somewhere in Sydney to the local mail sorting centre.

Posts: 4,149 Karma: 94320195 Join Date: May 2012 Location: Australia Device: Sony 650, Kobo Glo, H2O, Aura One, Forma, Libra 2, Libra Colour | I also got that message then too, and I've had the white libra 2 in my cart for maybe 4 or 5 days and tried to buy the device over a dozen times but couldn't. I tried to buy the blue sleep cover, but got the same message that visa can't be processed for technical reasons. What card are you going to use on the Kobo device store? |

A Kobo Sage weighs 240g. A Forma 197g. So a difference of 43 grams. Taking out the 9g, that's 34g. So why the extra 34g, beefing it up for a glass substrate? And it is interesting that the eink site doesn't list a Carta 1200 8" glass substrate panel? Are we sure that the Sage doesn't have a plastic substrate? They also don't list a 8" mobius panel.
