Are polls difficult to create in Mobileread?

So, a poll for everyone. Closes in 10 days, give or take 15 or 30 days, but only during leap year. Last edited by Dr. Drib; 09-19-2021 at 01:12 PM. |

I voted no. You had an excellent idea in the other thread: do a little prep work and write down the questions first (although I would suggest using a computer, that way you can cut/paste).

Creating was easy Getting it right at first hard IMHO Polling is an Art (thus hard to get meaningful) Some pollers do not provide for other responses (like the blue fish) or All of the above. Then there is the skewed polls you get on the phone. About 3 question and I usually can figure what they are after |

MobileRead polls? Think about what you want the poll to accomplish, get your question ready ahead of time and go for it.

They’re not difficult to create; that process is straightforward. However, the first time you post one it’s not obvious that you have to create the thread first and then you’ll be able to create the poll.

Hey, what happened to the fish? I never pick the blue one if it's next to a chicken |

If I read the thread without replying to the poll, is that a poll vault?

I have this on authority that the chicken ate the fish. Then the chicken had its head chopped off, blood drained, feathers pulled, and we later had chicken and dumplings for dinner.

This poll was stupid - where was the "The blue stick next to the chicken" option? Or the "The stick next to the blue chicken"? Forced me to go with "a type of stick", very unsatisfactory. |
