The Jack McKinney Robotech books were available as ebooks. I guess the rights expired, so now they are gone. But all of the books were released as ebooks except for... The Masters Gambit I think was left out. The original twelve were collected as 3 book omnibuses. I have all of them. I would like to see the Yoshiyuki Tomino Mobile Suit Gundam trilogy receive an official ebook release. Last edited by ZodWallop; 08-30-2021 at 04:31 PM. |

You can easily buy those books with a good vpn, I used to buy lots of books from amazon with only changing my region settings, so not even vpn is needed there, but dunno about kobo rakuten settings.

Incidentally, with Kobo you don't even need a VPN. It's (almost) as easy as changing your country in the settings.

Joel Rosenberg's Guardians of the Flame series. The first 6 are available as ebooks but not the last 4. A bummer to me, because I've got the first ones in dead tree format but not the ending.

Sadly, this did not prove true for me. I tried changing my country in the settings to one I wished to buy from, it then asked for a payment method associated with that country - Paypal not an option, my CCs not valid from Kobo's POV for the country I chose.

Visa and Mastercard are very difficult to use for foreign purchases. My American Express on the other, hand, has never been a problem. Apache |
