Still doesn't work for me (I have not had time to try a VPN). I get the following error: pgaskin.net took too long to respond

They are not available yet. This is mainly due to Kobo having changed the way font-size is handled in books. Three existing patches are broken and it hasn't yet been confirmed how difficult it might be to repair them.

I bought my Kobo Aura One in 2017. It was never usable. In the beginning the calibration of the touchscreen was off. This became better with each update. However, the touchscreen was unresponsive most of the time. It was so frustrating that I actually stopped using it, though I kept it updated.

With this last update the responsiveness problem is gone altogether and I can finally use the device without aggravation.

Does this mean the 'Custom Font Size' patches (10 and 24) are no longer needed via 4.28.17925 on the Elipsa???

As the patches are not available if there any way we could use the patches for the previous versio? I only want the ability to bold my own fonts.

I don't like the streaky lines the Clara displayed while it was downloading the firmware update. It looked broken. Why not a simple statement, like "Your device is being updated"?

From what I saw on my Clara, it looks like it isn't needed. I've heard conflicting observations from users of other devices though.
