How to force reset a kindle
DO NOT USE THIS METHOD FOR EVIL PURPOSES. I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR LOSS OF CONTENT.
If your kindle will not start, but you can access the kindle drive, of if it is in a boot loop where you can only access the drive for a brief moment, then you might have to force reset it. first copy your whole kindle into a folder ( if you can ) then create a .txt file and go to its properties. change the file name to: DO_FACTORY_RESTORE there should be a warning about changing the file name extension. click yes if you see it. copy the file to your kindle. You might have to force reboot it. You shoud now see a page where you choose your desired language. all done! |

is it safe for jailbreak?
