overwrote library file
I was trying to resync the calibre library manually on two computers when I accidentally copied the entire contents of one computer's library into the other's.
While originally they were one and the same, there were many new "books" downloaded with fanficfare in the main computer and two new "books" downloaded with fanficfare on the other. Is there any way to get calibre on the main computer to scan the library folder and re-add any books not already in the library in such a way that I can still use FanficFare to update the stories that might have been updated? I'm not sure if just trying to drag and drop the folder and skip any duplicates would set up fanficfare to know where to check for updates or not, so I'm asking the best way to fix this situation. |

*IF*
every title folder has a cover.jpg and metadata.opf, as well as 1 or more format files, You can try the Restore Database unde Library Maintainence. This will take some time, but this will restore your metadata, Which adding books will not (normally) |

I usually use Fanfiction Downloader for fics from Pit of Voles (when I'm not using de-ffnet-izer), and AO3 has it's own export to AZW or MOBI so I don't need fanficfare. |

Those files listed are what a Calibre Library looks like (a book entry).
RESTORE DBuses Those (if you don't mess them up by trying some other methods). BTW I have no idea what a FFF book entry really looks like as I don't use that PI, but I suspect it would still end up looking the same |

I just checked, and while they all seem to have metadata.opf, a good deal are missing cover.jpg, probably because the fic in question doesn't have a cover or any images. I'm running the rebuild anyways.
