Reading Tabloid newspaper PDF with KOReader

I have installed KOReader AND Plato on my Kobo Forma but am having difficulties finding the right settings in KOReader in-order to scroll around and read the 5 columns of my newspaper page saved in PDF.

Any tips please?

Try column mode (Bottom Menu — third tab), set 5 columns or some close value (via vertical three dots) to fit a single column. Then, set Direction to what makes sense (Top-to-bottom, left-to-right maybe, that’s Direction number 2). Also try to set horizontal overlap smaller, so that you actually hit these 5 columns. Also try to play around with crop to take into account correct margins

Thanks. My third tab says Rows not columns. I have set that to 5 but still no real joy.

There should be columns as well. “Zoom to” has 5 choices: fit page, fit content, coulmns, rows and manual. Can you see this?

Yes, When I choose Column mode from the "Zoom to" menu I can set the columns to 5.
