Newbie: Seeking Additional "How To" Info
Hello-- I'm hesitant to ask because this is so basic, but I've downloaded, read (and highlighted!) the Calibre User Guide, but being new I still have some questions and was wondering if there's an even more "plain language" guide(s)/site out there I can read so I don't ask super-simplistic questions here, like I still can't figure out the difference between a category and a tag! I'm particularly looking for info on organizing my Library. Thank you!

In calibre the words Tag and Category are synonymous - sort of.
The left sidebar is called the Tag Browser, the sections within it (Authors, Publishers, Languages etc) are collectively known as Categories, and there is a Category called Tags. Took me a while to get a handle on it too I suggest you watch the videos ==>> https://calibre-ebook.com/demo BR |
