Question When converting PDF to MOBI pages are duplicated

Hello. So, when I'm converting PDF to MOBI I get weird result, pages are duplicated. I will put here some screens how result looks like. Maybe someone will help me here, because I can't find any right information how to fix that. Please, help in this situation.

So, in example, after converting I have this:

First page is like original
2nd, 3rd and 4th pages are converted of first page,
And so on, next page will be original and others will be like converted.

So how to remove that original page?

Probably your pdf has both page scan and text. Easiest way to fix it is just convert to epub, open the epub in the calibre editor and delete all the images. Then convert the epub to mobi.

And I tried. PDF I converted to EPUB, and then EPUB I converted to MOBI with ("Do not convert all images to JPEG") feature, but I still see that images.

You need to delete the images from the epub first using the edit book tool, the JPEG option is irrelevant.

Not really. You'd need to hide it from the conversion process, which I don't think will be possible.

Your original PDF has the original scanned pages (the 'images') and a reflowable text version, probably OCRed from the scanned pages.

The conversion of the PDF is producing a file with both the scanned page and the OCRed text. By converting to an ePub, it should be fairly easy to just delete all the unwanted scanned pages before converting to your final format.

Yeah, I do in this way. It's not so hard, but when I need to convert MANY books so it rly take time to do that for every single book. Maybe in future there will come smth like "Remove all images from file" .

Thank u for everyone help.

Exclamation

Look, fellas, what I figured out:

Code:
img[src*=".png"]  {
    display: none;
}
This one removes all images, because that images from pdf are .png files when I convert them to epub. And when from epub I converting it to mobi I add this code to style line. So I believe it should work also on massive converting

I'll be interested to know whether the conversion removes the invisible images, or just copies them, retaining the (in)visibility.

Well this code isn't deleting anything. This code just hide items from showing. But for me it's good enough, because I can convert books in massive with this code and fix my current problem .
