1. calibre_bookmarks.txt / 2. insert tag
Every time I use the Calibre viewer the "calibre_bookmarks.txt" is added to the ePub. I don't need that file and worst deleting it change the last modified date of the ePub. Is it possible to make the integration of this file optional?

In the editor the "insert tag" present is options in a top down window. Reversing this presentation can easy my work since I have to go high on the screen to get the last used tag when the least used option is near the text I'm working on.

Look in the viewer preferences. And how would reversing the order ofthe menu items help? You have to click the button first, so the most recent entries are near the button, at the top.

Sorry. I can't find the viewer preference to avoid to integrate to the ePub the calibre_bookmarks.txt file.

As for the insert tag scrolling menu take a look to the image and you will find the last choice way up from the line to edit.

That's because you have too many entries in the menu, remove some and it will be close to the button you click to open it.

Viewere preferences->Miscellaneous->Keep a copy of annotations/bookmarks in ebook file

It's because I would prefer to have the last used option near the edited line so just go down and click instead of going up click and going down to the edited line. I know for the Windows API it is simple to reverse the column I don't know how complicated it is in the programming language of Calibre.
