Can you try this and see if it works for you:

Code:
#
menu_item :main :Screensaver Status :cmd_output :500:quiet:test -e /mnt/onboard/.kobo/screensaver_old
      chain_success : dbg_toast :Screensaver is off
      chain_failure : dbg_toast :Screensaver is on
#
menu_item :main :Toggle screensaver :cmd_output :500:quiet:test -e /mnt/onboard/.kobo/screensaver_old
    chain_failure :skip :3
        chain_success :cmd_spawn :quiet:mv /mnt/onboard/.kobo/screensaver_old /mnt/onboard/.kobo/screensaver
        chain_success :dbg_toast :Screensaver on
        chain_always :skip :-1
    chain_failure :cmd_spawn :quiet:mv /mnt/onboard/.kobo/screensaver /mnt/onboard/.kobo/screensaver_old
    chain_success :dbg_toast :Screensaver off
#
The screen saver status echo was just to allow me to check if the status had been toggled so can be removed.

Edit: Also note that I set this in my Main/homepage menu.

Do you really even have to test it? Just move it, and if it fails, move it the other way. I think it would be the same, but 2 lines shorter.

edit: nevermind. More error checking is better anyway.

Have someone success with FTP connection? Where do i put the username on the config file?

Can i open books directly from the FTP when connected or do i need to download them first on the mounted directory?

Can swap the More tab and NickelMenu tab? Logically, the More tab goes last everywhere.

Just my personal opinion... it may be more logical to you but it's not for me. I like the NickelMenu button exactly where it is. Putting the 'More' button at bottom right would mess up my MiniClock display.

I am not using MiniClock. And as I understand it, geek1011 always adds a choice to new options.

If it's able to be done and can be done as a option, I see no problem with this.

Hello and thank you for developing the nickelmenu.

My screen doesnt work at the top due to a fall. So I have to switch off and on again whenever I want to change books.

When you are reading a book and you touch the middle part (if you have it configured that way) the page scrolling bar appears below (among other things at the top). Could the nickelmenu be put somewhere in there? I am not sure if it can go over the book letters or maybe where the scroll bar is (anywhere below the top would be fine)

Now I understand this might be too complicated and not worth anybody´s time so if it cant be done, no worries I´ll have to be more careful with my ebook

Thanks!

cut -f3 -d',' /mnt/onboard/.kobo/version

I'm sure the actual revision hash is also stored in a file somewhere, but damned if I can remember where right now .

EDIT: /usr/local/Kobo/revinfo

True true, but seems easier to have it in the nm rather than have to go in the settings then device info
