Last week I sent out a bunch of PM's to users for a group card that I was creating in ebook form. This was only a small portion of the users (see below) but I got a great response and now would like to present this to MobileRead's founder and Admin, Alexander Turcic. Anyone that wants to be added to the book, just let me know. It is currently in LRF since Alex has a Sony and my formatting tool handles that best. If anyone wants to convert it they are welcome to. I used a lot of liberty in the formatting and I hope no one is offended. I think only one in three of our members even use a spell checker so don't be too mad... For those that didn't get a PM don't be upset, I simply took the users online and the most recent activity on the forum to form my list. It was by no means a popularity contest. We have 32k users and I -know- I missed a lot. Also, I found out yesterday that some messages never got through so it is possible I missed some entries. I just created the gmail account I used so that could be part of the problem. Just let me know and I'll revise it. I would also like to thank Zelda_Pinwheel for the cover and her incredible help as I was doing this! |

Darn, I'd intended to send you something to include, but life got in the way and I forgot. I'll just post my thanks here... Alexander, Thanks for creating and maintaining a fun, educational place for all of us to hang out, swap info and exchange opinions. This is one of the best run communities I've ever had the pleasure to be a part of. |

I'd like to add my thanks as well. It's much easier to be a Whiny Cry Baby (me) than it is to be the person (you) who has to deal with all the Whiny Cry Babies (me). Plus the time and energy it takes to keep this site running and moving forward is more than I will ever have. So thanks, for doing all the work and letting me enjoy the fruits of your labor. |

MR is a home, our home, and you built it! It is a friendly place with all the room and amenities necessary to accomodate the differences of all users. And you keep building more in! MR is the first place I visit when firing the computers. Even before looking for mail. For once it is your turn to face the spotlight. Many more such successes to you! |
