IIRC, both would work, but it doesn't even need to include a valid language code (they will show up as specified in the filename since you have another word in it).

From my brief testing, it just has to start with "dicthtml-". And it doesn't need an extension. If the part after this is of the form "xx-yy" and "xx" and "yy" are recognized language codes, the names of the languages will be used. Otherwise, the full file name will be used.

This is something that is easy and completely safe to experiment with. Just name the file and see what happens.

That's correct. The other limitation is that it can't include any kind of whitespace. And, if the locale matches a built-in one, " (Custom)" will be appended to the name.

The first and second should do well. Moreover I merged them in Thorondor_v1.
You can choose by yourself what fits your needs

Given below are the files of a much improved English-Hindi dictionary developed by Shabdanjali, and made available for free use under GPL.
I'm a total newbie in the field of converting dictionaries for Kobo.
Could someone please help me get them converted for use with Kobo?

I will be highly thankful.
