Question about usb storage
Is it possible to make the Kobo Aura h2o2v2 show the root directory "/" instead of "/mnt/onboard"?

Nope.

USBMS means the host system *unmounts* said partition. You *really* don't want to unmount / .

(I mean, someone motivated enough and working outside of Nickel *could*, with a bit of trickery, but that's besides the point. And also a terrible idea).

If you feel up to re-writing a chunk of code and power cycling, yes. Of course, any changes that make the OS unbootable could leave you with a paperweight.
