could you pls tell how should i do because i copied the folder to sd card and restarted the reader but the flash didn't start even i pushed the option button!!

1. the package has 3 dirs and 10 files , need put them all in root .
2. you need make sure the 700 is truely power off buy holding the powe switch 3-5 seconds before inserting the sd card then power on again to start update.
3. the update need several minutes, press OPTION after finished update and the 700 will reboot auto.

but one more question, is it able to read TRADITIONAL CHINESE??

Wow, it only took those guys 5 months to translate it from Russian! Not a bad job... They should have used the one with a clock though.

When PRS-700 was reading the first Chinese file, it crashed. First time rebooted itself but second time totally crashed, nothing on the screen, and reset didn't work...the up-left light is always on orange...please help

Does this convert the whole interface to Chinese? I would simply like to be able to read books in Chinese, but have an English interface as it is my native language and only 10-20% of the reading I do is in Chinese ...

So I waited for over a year and there was no release of any kind of firmware upgrade for the 700 at all so yesterday I decided to try this. The flashing and everything worked wonderfully. The reader even auto-flows vertical Japanese texts in pdfs.
