Ohh... the last version of Calibre doesn’t work in my OS...

Thanks for your share that news. The problem is that Calibre last versions are not running in my Mac. Because of the OS...

The issue is addressed in Calibre v 4.17.

...remove your books without cover from your kindle
...transfer them back to your kindle using calibre 4.17
..eject kindle and switch on wifi on your kindle ( your covers will disappear)
..connect to calibre again and your covers will be restored

check with calibre support team about installing the latest version in your mac.

What OS are you running? If it's Windows, there's the excuse you need to upgrade to Windows 10. If it's not, there's the excuse you need to install Windows 10.

Windows 10 is terrible at everything besides loading graphical drivers. It doesn't even have a good UI anymore.

Out of curiosity, why did you post on the 23rd & 24th, that you could not run the latest calibre due to your OS? Yet now you are managing to run calibre 4.17.0 under MacOSX 10.13.6 High Sierra? A modified and home compiled version? Running from modified source?

As a network engineer, nobody in my career field uses windows for a reason. It's a decent consumer OS because it's what people are familiar with and it loads GPU drivers the best.

Windows is losing market share rapidly for a reason.

Macintosh hardware is very much overpriced and Linux is going nowhere fast. Chrome is not all that useful. What else is there? WINDOWS!

People can see what tasks they need and choose now. Also the absolute need to upgrade PC every year to two years is gone.

While tablets have their uses, they cannot replace a full fledged computer unless it's a full fledged Windows tablet. I have a Surface Pro 2 and it works as a full fledged computer.

Tablets cannot run Calibre and to me, that means i need a computer.
