Folks, if you are not listening to the videos at the time of posting them, then don't post them because you aren't listening to them. And if you are watching the video and wait till you are done, then when you post the video, you are no longer listening to the video. So no need to post the videos since they are not what you are listening to at that time.

You are right, "Listening to a video" sounds strange anyway. But sometimes it's nice if i can view a unknown (at least unknown for me) band/artist instantly.

i like the videos ; i love to discover new music and this thread is brilliant for that. plus it's a nice way to share music you love with others who might not know it ; sort of like when you've got a music-loving friend who comes over and you play all your latest cds and talk about bands. the videos are one of the best parts of this thread. sometimes i open it in a new window and play all the latest videos / deezer links while i'm reading the other threads. i think this thread is more about sharing your musical discoveries with others than just documenting what you're listening to at a particular time.

But, by the time the video is posted, it's not what's being listened to. So it kind of defeats the topic.

You could be listening to the video while writing the post.
