Post custom dictionary expired after one or two weeks
i have issue with the dictioneries in my kobo forma, im replacing dictioneries by installing new ones in the ".dict" folder for example "dicthtml-en-it.zip".

its working great for one or two weeks, and after that its returning to read from the real dict in the device and not from the file i have put in the ".kobo" folder.

any idea why?

There is a patch, if You only want to substitute the embedded dictionary with a better one it can help You.

of course for dicthtml-en-it.zip You have to rename micthtml-en-it.zip

the version i have is 4.19.14123, can i patch that version?

how to patch? there is a tutorial for noobs like me?

I expect it lasted until a sync was done with Kobo via wifi, or a new version of the firmware was installed

The people to really thank are the creators of the patches and those who maintain them.

If you try to synchronize the Kobo you can see if it works.
