That's why I thought we should close the one known or unkown escape tunnel!

Bah! Why is it that no-one ever files the requisite forms in quadlicate with me? You know everyone's absence requires my approval. Your contempt for the system is most aggravating. (Now I don't get to say, "Goodbye, have a nice trip". ~sulk~) |

(psst, say it anyway. She won't be here, and you can always say you said it earlier, that MR time stamp screwed up, it was Amazon's fault, etc)......

Ahh, my old favourite..."Oh, I sent it by email before you left. Didn't you get it? Have you checked your spam folder?" (A tip: this does NOT work with Mother) |

I just lost an incredibly long and slightly amusing post. I made it to central ORegon, about 300 odd miles. Critters are good, I'm exhausted and will try to recapture my wittiness tomorrow. |

Look behind the couch (or in your case, in the gap between the seat and the back of the passenger-seat). Quote:

I think wittiness can be recaptured with a simple net. I think the elephant gun is a bit over-the-top.

I'm sure you're right about that (who am I to disagree?) But for the misplacement of simple wittiness (or the simpleness of misplaced wittiness) I'll stick to my guns and say a net is all he should need for recapture. After all, the man lost it in the confinement of his vehicle. An elephant gun would surely result in the breaking of glass, which may result in flat tires and cut body parts and injured giant puppies. You see the snowball effect I'm eluding to? Jeesh . . . enough with the gun already.

Did I say that? I didn't here me say that. Get that hammer drill outta yer ear and finish writing that book that's soon to be released. I've been reading the reviews and it's already creating a huge following. Hope you have a spare room big enough for them to stay in.

I'm a girl. 0547, drinking funky hotel room coffee waiting for 0600 to see what "continental breakfast" offerings may present themselves. I may be a bit more coherent after nutrition.
