Kindle 4 Bricked and stuck

Hello! I'm im very new to the Kindle hacking scene and really messed up. I put my Kindle 4NT into developer mode and now its stuck. The 5 way pad wont move anything, the power button wont do anything and the light is the only thing that alive. I thought about letting it die then trying but IDK about that one. I really wanna just get some nice screen savers and get some cool stuff. IF you can Help that is great! First, try holding the power button down for 40 seconds.
Note any changes to the LED or display.
Failing that, see if it is picked up by a computer when you plug it in (if a Windows computer makes a sound when you plug the Kindle in, then it is picked up)

i tired it the first method nothing happened but when i plug it in, the indicator LED lights up and mu windows pc read it when i plugged it the 1st time, but after that it wouldn't read

Find the first page of this forum that you are reading.
Look among the topmost ("sticky") threads for the title with "Kubrick" in it.
Try that, it is real good at recovering a K4NT.

so i tried it and got far but when trying to boot into it it says something about check secure boot policy. IDK what that means. Any help is good help at this point

EDIT: I found out it was secure boot. I'm currently on moms computer so i don't wanna disable and mess something up if you can provide a way to Go into Kubrick and unbrick my kindle it would be great thanks

You won't mess up anything by disabling Secure Boot. At all.
Secure Boot is like a cop who stands at the "door" to your PC. In its factory configuration, it only lets Windows (and a couple of well-known Linux "distros) start up, but not, say, viruses that start before Windows does.
Disabling it tells Secure Boot to just allow anything to pass through, until you re-enable it.
There is a method that allows us to add Kubrick's loader to Secure Boot's "good side", but it's a headache, especially for something you're only going to use once, so just disable it. You are free to re-enable it when you're done.
To disable it, go to your computer's firmware/UEFI options (sometimes incorrectly called "BIOS configuration"). You can see how to do that by Googling your computer's model name + "disable secure boot".

Thanks but i just used MFGtool, used the drop down menu to kindle main, then had it charge overnight.! but now i've installed a font hack and wanna uninstall it but it wont let me go to the setting to update it and uninstall.

Please post the link to the font hack you used.
