Remove Author Name from Title

HI, Never used a forum so apologies if this is done incorrectly. If so, please advise how I make this right. My problem is that I converted several thousand EPUB files last night into Calibre and overall things went quite smoothly. However, under the title column of the book I also have many titles with the authors name included. Since there is already a field for the Authors name is there a simple way to remove authors names from the title column of my books. For instance I have many books by "Some Author." Author column shows correctly. The title column shows "Some Author - Book Title." Not a huge deal, just trying to avoid having to edit every entry. Thanks in advance for any advice and if needed, directing this question where appropriate. Otherwise I am glad to be on Mobile Read and have read many interesting entries.

You can select all books and press E then go to the search and replace tab and try to setup expressions to match author the names you wan tto correct and apply them. How easy it will be will depend on the ind of entries in your title column.
