Anyway to change the "My Books" in Kobo to include the amount of pages?

I let calculate page count by the plugin in Calibre and put this in the subtitle metadata (like described above). The I connect the Kobo with my PC, send ebooks to the device, then eject the device. In the library on the Kobo the page count is missing. I reconnect the Kobo to the PC (with Calibre still open) and eject it after recognition in Calibre. After that the page count is visible as subtitle in the Kobo library.

It's always like this, I always have to connect the device twice.

I’m gonna guess it’s something along the lines of stop talking about what page number system you think is best because it’s entirely subjective and most of us are tired about arguing which is better and for those who aren’t tired there’s a current thread going dedicated specifically to the topic created specifically to prevent it from spilling into other topics.

The OP asked how to get page numbers in to the metadata fields. This implies they have a source they like for those page numbers. Given that the topic of page numbers has been prominent in two recent threads and the entire focus of a third which the OP has posted in, they are all too well aware of the sources and options they can use. And have selected one they prefer. Answers should then be focused on giving them the steps required to do what they want. And replies which focus solely on what page number system is best and that they absolutely must use are irrelevant and bothersome at this point.

You’re free to use the system you like best Jon. But stop insisting it’s best for everyone. We spent way over 90 posts getting to the point that everyone has a preferred system and all have strengths and weaknesses (including ADE). There is no best. There’s only best for you.

But I’m only speculating.
