Full screen reading in native reader

Does the native reader have full page reading, hide page numbers at the bottom an any other info along the margins? I'm looking at the Touch HD 3 as my possible new ereader. Thanks!

On my touch hd 3, while reading a book in the built in reader, if I tap the options button (right most physical button, as opposed to the home, left page, or right page buttons), then select settings, then there are options for “page” which is margins, line spacing and hyphenation, another option for fonts, and to answer you question, a third option for “display”.

In display are three yes/no choices: pages, status bar, and built-in page numbering.

If I say no to pages and status bar, I get full screen of the book text.

I confirmed that preference persisted from book to book.

You can also tap middle of the screen for the options to show up, instead of the physical button.

By the way, what color did you get? If it's the spicy copper, do you find the logo and color distracting?

It’s the spicy copper, and I like it. It’s not distracting at all. I usually skin or get a cover...but I use the touch hd 3 nekkid. I like this one that way.

The copper color is to me a warm, matte-like finish. It’s not shiny or reflective.
