What is the highest firmware that jailbreak survives?
I have a jailbroken PW4 and have read issues with the jailbreak surviving 12 generation firmware, 5.12*** firmware. Can someone confirm the current highest jailbreak surviving firmware? The highest firmware number reference I can find under 5.12 is 5.11.2.

It (currently) survives.

5.12 is just generally nastier. Not sure you can block OTAs, not sure you'll ever be able to reinstall the hotfix if shit happens.

Interesting. So just to be 100% clear - jailbreak should survive the update to 5.12 as long as the hotfix is already installed? But beyond that is anyone’s guess esp if you can’t block OTA updates?

The jailbreak on my PW2 survived the 5.12.1 firmware update. Maybe the hotfix requires minor changes for current Kindle models.

Have you tried to install the latest hotfix over 5.12.1 via menu Update Your Kindle?
If it failed, can you get the syslog entering ;dm to the Search on the homescreen immediately after that.
