Not as extensive as FactFiction (they will be so missed!) is https://www.fantasticfiction.com/ - better than nothing. Amazon's Following always announces books a year in advance for me and I'm not going to keep up with that far in advance - wonder if there is a setting somewhere that requests the date as others on here say they aren't getting notices until after the book is published.

I often get really early notices like that, but then I typically get another at, or near, release time. They may miss some releases--I wouldn't really know, I don't check. If some get away from me, I don't really mind. I'll bump into them sometime or other. Unread books by favorite authors are always assets. I'm OK with them piling up on me a bit.

Yeah I used to use that before I found fictfact. That is the first website i went to check what functionality i can get out of compared to fictfact, As individually searching 100+ series and authors for new books once in a while is going to be a pita.

That's not what I use it for. I just use it to find the correct reading order of books in a series. For that purpose it works extremely well.

FictFact - you will be missed
I used FictFact for many years and was also bummed to see that it closed down (I did see the announcement on Facebook).

The functionality that I'll miss and that I don't see replicated anywhere else (please correct me if I'm wrong!) is to get an overview of a series and to see which books I have already read. I can (and do) use FantasticFiction to see what books are in a series, but I track my books read in Goodreads, which is pretty awful for series tracking.

I don't believe there is another site that focuses on series the way this one did. I have given up on Goodreads improving in that area. I love that site but people have been requesting improvements for series for years, but the site doesn't seem interested in making these changes.

Series info is entered by volunteers. Sometimes there are multiple/different ways that series numbers can be entered. For example, chronological, publication date, author preference and add-on publications.
