				Version 3.41.1 Error message
			 
			
			I use Windows 10, 32 bit. I downloaded version 3.41.1, but at launching Calibre, I receive this message: Code: Python function terminated unexpectedly 'utf8' codec can't decode byte 0xfc in position 13: invalid start byte (Error Code: 1) |

			Hmm that's a weird error. Can you attach the file global.py from your calibre config directory.

			same problem for me...with calibre64bit  3.41.1...reinstalling calibre 3.40bit and no problem

			Just search your computer for the file global.py that should find it.

			It's probably in C:\Users\pjd10\AppData\Roaming\calibre Otherwise do a search for one of the file names in my screen shot e.g. metadata-sources-cache.json, can't imagine there'd be many of them BR |
