After the third pass they finally got the kidney stone and got rid of the stent. As ok as I ever get, nowadays. . . . I hope Lisa has a better course than I did.

Taking a break. Just converted an Iriver H320 MP3 player (from Goodwill) to Rockbox and replaced the hard drive with a 128GB Compact Flash card. It took a few hours, but it's done and playing -- and sounds great.

Thank you cromag. I didn't get over to see her today, but my pastor did. She's doing a lot of sleeping which doesn't surprise me with how sick she was. Having an infection and high fever will really take a lot of energy out of you.

Was it easy to do? Was the hard drive broken or did you just want to have more storage space?

Really, tinkering with tech items is a bit of a hobby. I use MP3 players to listen to music -- I don't listen to audiobooks -- and the Irivers sound great. But, for the cost of a used Iriver, a battery, Compact Flash card and adapter you can buy a very, very good brand new MP3 player. So. unless you're into tinkering, that's the way I'd go. | |

Reinstalling the game Stardew Valley on my laptop. I'm in the mood to play, but for some reason the GOG launcher doesn't want to update, so I've uninstalled it. After that I have reinstall some mods again. |

Composing a long-ish email to a friend in our musical group, who cannot fathom how to get songs from his PC, onto his android tablet. He has never even heard of Windows Explorer, after fifteen years of computing, so it may be an uphill struggle!

Waiting to retest my blood sugar (2 hrs after having my insulin shot). At least I'm not running on empty (for sleep) though. I got a good (overdue) sleep today.Laid down a bit after 2 pm and slept almost round the clock (up for a bit for supper at 7 pm) so I am getting caught up on my rest. My fiancee is still sick in hospital but she is in good hands and I have high hopes for her recovery so now I can hopefully get better rest moving into the future.
