Relaxing after a long day. Spent part of it with my fiancee. Also stopped by our local court house to find out what all is required for a marriage license and how much they cost. I didn't want to get caught short on the expense or on any documents that are required when we apply for one in May.

Getting ready for the day. Today I only work in the morning, and there's enough for me to do. I still need to finish dealing with the shipment I started on yesterday, hopefully I can finish it this morning. And there's another shipment waiting for me after that, luckily shipments from this supplier and usually quick and easy to deal with. This afternoon I plan to spend some quality time with my latest book, the first book in Hakan Nesser's Inspector Van Veeteren series. I'm not even 30 pages in and I already got annoyed when I had to put it down to go to sleep. |

Waiting to re-test my bedtime blood sugar. I always test before and then 2 hrs after having my bedtime insulin shot. Can make for a late night but better that than having a low blood sugar in my sleep.

I might just have ordered some supplies to make my own bracelets (and necklaces and earrings). Because I haven't got enough hobbies as it is. I love simple bracelets of cord or leather with some beads on it. But they are often overpriced, to plasticy or not my style. So I decided to make my own. The supplies are cheap, the most expensive thing was the pliers set, and I needed a small plier set anyway. Tomorrow I'll visit the nearby bead store for beads, cord and other supplies I didn't order online. |

It's been a busy day. My mother and I have done some cleaning in the kitchen. Just one extra wide cabinet left to do. Which is the hardest one. We'll do that next Sunday. I've just done some online shopping; more jewelry making supplies (and here I thought it was going to be a cheap hobby ), and a new supply of Yankee Candle wax tarts. I'm about to make a list for tomorrow. My father and I are running errands; we're going to a supplier in Amsterdam and a store nearby, then to a DIY store and maybe after that, if I can convince my dad, to a Lidl supermarket. A busy weekend for me, with not much time for reading. After the list making I'm going to brew some tea and watch a movie, or two. |

Trying to rest after a very long, very stressful day. Lisa has been sick in hospital the last few days. Today they did a renal test and found that her kidney's weren't draining properly. So they did a surgical procedure to put in temp.stents so that things will drain while they treat/try to find out what is going on. Right now she's resting in ICU while the effects of the anestetic wear off. The procedure was supposed to be only 20 min. but ended up being longer as one of the stents didn't want to go in like it should.
