Content Item not Available

On my Oasis 1 I have a book that shows in the content 2 times but is not available if I try to open it. I am sure this has been asked here before but I cannot find a way to get it cleaned up other than a total reset of the device.
Does anyone have a better fix?

Delete the e-book try re-downloading it.

Rebooting the Kindle normally sorts out this type of problem.

I have tried both suggestions more than once with no help.

I have seen odd behavior like this when multiple book files on a Kindle contain the same cde-type and ASIN metadata. If that is the case here you would need to identify the books in question and delete the files manually over USB.

Not sure but somehow the kindle did a reindeer anf it cleared the books that were re,over from the device but kept showing on it. I did restart a couple of times and also added the books back on th device then removed them again they finally show that they ar no longer on the device.
