If I recall correctly, there was implicit homosexuality with the ‘lower’ ranked dragonriders, and when Lessa’s queen has her first mating flight, the scene with F’lar is somewhat rape-y. (It’s been years since I read them, so I may be mis-remembering.)

In my experience, when nothing is said about country restrictions in a post like this, it is reasonably safe to assume that the poster is from the USA, and that therefor the offer should likewise be assumed to be restricted to US customers unless and until evidence to the contrary surfaces.

As has been stated on the previous page of this thread when this offer was first announced here, the offer is not valid in Canada but is price matched by Kobo US, so it's safe to assume that it's US only.

Sounds like you might have just been at the tail end of the sale, but I'd contact Amazon and perhaps they will get you fixed up.
Last night I bought the Fall of Gondolin and it went through at the sale price.

Raymond E. Feist's horror novel Faerie Tale is $1.99 at Amazon. I shared this on the horror thread, but since Feist is primarily known as a fantasy author, I thought it might be of interest here. I suppose you could classify the book as extremely dark fantasy. He spells fairy 'faerie', so you know it's serious.

It was pre-internet and mentioned in multiple places at the time (1980s?). I know I read about it in a now defunct scifi/fantasy magazine (Omni, I think it was called). It was also in the library review newspapers.
