Troubleshooting Kindle doesn't load new books.

Hey, so I've been using my kindle Oasis 2 for a number of months now and never had a problem with it. Recently however I have not been able to sideload any books. I can do the actual operation with Calibre and the folders appear on the storage volume like they should, but the list of items does not update. It's effectively like I never loaded in a new book as far as my kindle is concerned.

So far I have tried updating my software to the latest revision and hard resetting the thing. Are there any ways to force the kindle to rebuild it's lists? Hopefully without ruining my collections?

EDIT: I've got 514 items on the kindle if that matters at all, though I'm pretty sure that it doesn't.

If your library is set to show "all" books try changing it to "downloaded" and see if that helps.

Make sure to look in the DOCS section, not BOOKS.

Yeah, I've done both of those and tried to find the stories via the search function as well. That would have picked them up if the Kindle knew about them at all from my experience.
