Thank you, it is sorted now. Works well. Only pity it only sync position and not highlights. Is there maybe something which would sync whole .sdr directory? Last edited by richo; 03-08-2018 at 09:34 AM. Reason: typos | |

That's what I meant, sorry about being unclear. I should (perhaps even unilaterally) just call it something other than "nightly" on GitHub. The real nightly is auto-built every night. (Or every American night; for me it's early in the morning.) The GitHub "nightly" is the exact same build in theory but manually vetted to some degree. But more on that here. Edit: but I have no idea about the statusbar stuff. Top (status) and bottom (back, home, switch process) hide perfectly fine for me. :-/ |

The main idea behind the OTA updates is to download less data and that doesn't exist on Android. But true, there's a minor lack of convenience there too. |

I know nothing about that. See https://github.com/koreader/koreader/issues/2040 I can try to help with specific issues if there are any. |

I usually download the apk from http://build.koreader.rocks/download/nightly/ but you should look at the OTA Server settings for a site closer to you. Luck; Ken |

Hopefully someone can help me! I am interested in trying out KOreader and am not sure which version I need. I plan to use on a Samsung Galaxy S8 phone and a Samsung Galaxy Tab S. Any advice appreciated, thanks! |

My Galaxy S7 Active runs the android-arm .apk just fine. (As did my TF-100, before I broke the power switch.) Luck; Ken |

You could just try the .apk at http://build.koreader.rocks/download...45_2018-07-29/ for the latest version, I am guessing you need the I686 Android version. If it doesn't work, there might be someone who could help. Luck; Ken |
