Plugin to remember if book emailed (and where)

Hello all!

I searched a bit but couldn't find anything obvious. I'm wondering if there's a plugin that will let me remember if a book has previously been shared via email (and if so - to what email it was sent)?

I'd love to have that data in a column so I can sort/search on books that have already been shared via email to specific addresses.

If not, any pointers on where I could hook into that action being fired (to possibly write my own plugin)? It seems like it'd be straightforward (famous last words). I imagine that after a book has been emailed - is there some way to catch that signal and fire off a plugin to store the data?

There is no such hook but you could probably build one by monkey patching self.gui.email_sent in an interface plugin. And I wont refuse a pull request to actually have the method emit a signal to avoid the monkey patching.
