I agree with this. Didn't think I would like it but it does give it a nice balance.

Just got mine. I like it. It feels very snappy compared to my PW or PW3.

It is nice to hold but I'm finding that when I hold it where it feels natural the top button is easily available to my thumb but the one underneath feels like I'm stretching more than I want to. That said if I reach out sideways I can touch the edge of the screen itself to do back.

My case never arrived yesterday, called up and got a £10 discount.

The 3G kindle has only just gone out for delivery, unsure I'll get it today. But I've complained to Amazon that there is something wrong with distribution in this area. They've contacted the area manager.

Quite unusual to have so many things going wrong with Amazon.

"Guaranteed delivery date" doesn't mean as much with Amazon as it used to. During the last five or six months our extended family has received quite a few items past the "guaranteed" delivery date. I'd love to tell you how much I love my Oasis but its not arriving today now. I've just had an email to say "they attempted delivery", but couldn't so they will try another day. I've been in all morning. No one has been near my house. To say i am livid is putting it mildly

I'm not here tomorrow afternoon so I have no idea when I'll get it now. This is the first time ever that Amazon Logistics have done this, I've always been in to await a parcel and if i'm not for some unforeseen reason its always been left with a neighbour or somewhere safe.

I'm obviously fated not to have an Oasis.

Yeah, I’d say that in my case, it’s easier to hold than the OG Oasis without the cover. The SO commented that the OG Oasis felt heavier, which I think is because an even higher percentage of the weight is in the grip compared to before.

Despite being bigger and heavier than most of the Kindle line, I do find it the easiest Kindle to use one-handed, barely beating the Paperwhite. But my hands are on the large side, which made the Voyage’s small bezels uncomfortable.

It seems like their delivery service has teething problems. None of these things are unfixable and certainly happen to FedEx and UPS (don't check properly to see if people are home, lose packages) but it seems to happen more often with the Amazon service.

Oddly, when my package came finally the guy was in a white unmarked Ram van. It's possible he was a manager sent out to bring the package specifically since executive support was on the case, but you would think that clearly marking trucks would be a good idea.

A very nice Amazon Logistics delivery driver came back to me and delivered my Oasis

Initial impressions are good, it's snappy, light, the screen looks clear. I had a few scarey moments when collections wouldn't show but they seem to be visible now. My software update immediately and I've already tried out Audible and it's great.

My £60 refund from Amazon has had to come as a Gift Card on my account, but that's okay, we can work with that. I'm very happy now.
