				Gone for awhile

A large Peterbilt truck decided to do a u-turn right in front of me on the highway about 2 today. I hit him broadside doing 70. They called life-flight because they thought I was dead ... but after I crawled out of the wreckage that used to be my car and danced around for them to show them I was only a bit bloody, they called it off. iPhone destroyed, I'm in a lot of pain ... bad sprains. but nothing broken. So, back on pain meds for a bit... and hard to type with only one hand, so don't worry if I don't post for a few days. Sheriff said a few inches to the right and I would have been decapitated. Wheeeeeee |

I would have been highly pissed had you died. And you would have hurt my feelings, also. Seriously.......I thank God for your safety. |

Don't worry, I've given the Red Cross enough blood over the years that I'm sure they can spare a few dozen pints for you if you need it. For the pain meds, you're on your own. Get well, feel better, and avoid those Peterbuilts. Take the time to heal, be kind to your animals, we'll keep up the posting. So as long as your eyes hold out you can read our ramblings. (Then again, maybe reading about the rest of us might prolong your recovery period.) |

I'm very glad to hear that you're in one piece. Ok, Ricky, you've really got to stop having all of these adventures and getting sick or hurt. Put in a call to some of your kind neighbors and arrange for meal deliveries. Dreamer |

Thank heavens that you are are still with us, Ricky. You've had so many illnesses and injuries lately. I do hope that you are seeing a doctor. You take care of yourself: those kitties need you, and we'd miss you if you weren't here.

Luckily, miracles do happen! Good to hear you only came out of that with only a few scratches (and probably a lot of muscle pains). It sounded bad! I hope you can still hold your e-bookreader! |

Wow! Glad you are (relatively) okay. I am, however, coming to the conclusion that you are indestructable. You aren't, perhaps, related to one Captain Jack Harkness? (BTW, please don't try and put you indestructableness to the test again.) (BTW 2, If the truck driver was as stupid and at fault as it sounds, I hope you manage to educate the truck driver with the aid of the legal system.) |
