I have now checked my H2O times a few days. The phenomenon described by you, however, I can not confirm for my reader. I can not see any change in battery consumption.

I'm getting different double-refresh behaviour on my Kobo Aura E2. The double-refresh happens on every single page refresh except when I use the dictionary! And yes, it is very annoying. Anyone else getting this?

Ideally, the directory should have the same name as the download file. But, a directory called "KoboRoot.tgz" should block the file from being unpacked properly. But, the firmware looks for that file when you disconnect from the PC and restart the device. Looking at the checks in the script, it's probably OK, but I'm by no means an expert with shell scripts.

It's not going to brick the device. At the most, you would need to do a factory reset to recover.

But, tell me, what question did you ask that someone was supposed to answer? And please, point to the post where you actually asked something and didn't just whinge about it. And just to be clear, I did give you the answer to your supposed question in https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sh...6&postcount=56. | |

After upgrading to the newest firmware, I have experienced some problems with Calibre. It looks like, that there is a new version of database in my Kobo (Aura H20) and Calibre can't recognize it, so a special message occurs. Can anyone confirm it?
